I bought a quilt kit last summer at the Granbury Retreat. I couldn't pass it up since it is my favorite color.
I have twelve blocks to do. Each of those blocks has has two borders, then sashing, a solid border, a pieced border and another solid border. All blue and white!
I haven't done a sampler style quilt in a very long time. I'm enjoying putting one block at a time together. They are all different stars.

This looks like a fun project...love the blocks so far!
I think your farmhouse blue quilt is going to be stunning.
How are those Tooties doing.
Farmhouse blue...I've never heard that term, but I sure like the colour and the effect! Beautiful blocks!
Pretty blocks. That will be a nice quilt when you get it finished. You've got a good start already.
That's right up my alley too! I have never made a blue and white quilt, although I just love them. Guess I need to add it to my bucket list.
I love 2-color quilts although I must confess I've never made one. Can't wait to see it when it's finished. Don't you love Granbury's quilt shop?
Happy quilting!
